Surveillance Monitors

Displays for surveillance systems in shops, buildings and sites.

Illustrative monitor schematic (not a product photograph): LCD monitor — front view

A surveillance monitor is a display within a surveillance system, showing camera feeds to an operator or recording them alongside a recorder output. The evidenced model in this use is the BNC CCTV monitor ZC220, a 21.5 inch display with 1920 by 1080 resolution, BNC input among D-SUB, DVI, VGA and HDMI interfaces, and a brightness of 350 candela per square metre. Those figures belong to that model.

Surveillance installations vary widely: a small shop may need one display at a counter, a building may need a guard room wall, and a site may need an outdoor-rated post with its own enclosure. This page covers the display choice only. Enclosure, weather protection and recorder compatibility are installation questions that should be stated in an enquiry, because they decide which display and mounting suit the site.

The companion guides on this site cover camera-and-monitor sets and video surveillance system selection as buying questions, without adding a model specification. Use those guides to settle the system shape, then the ZC220 product page for the evidenced display specification.

Order quantity and lead time are confirmed per model in enquiry, and prices are not published on this site.
